After being licensed as a pharmacist, company founder Peter Köhnen initially gained experience in pharmaceutical wholesale domestically and abroad, before starting his company in 1998. Today, Pharmahandel Köhnen is an international pharmaceutical wholesaler in central Europe,  with a supplier base of established manufacturers and wholesalers. From its site in Germany´s south west, the company ships nationally and internationally to wholesalers, importers and pharmacies.
